Justin Firth founded Firth Mindfulness to helping student athletes build resilience, focus, and recovery skills. Justin is a veteran, licenced PA-C, and certified mindfulness teacher serving the greater Intermountain West.

My journey to this work wasn't a straight line - it was built from a decade of parallel paths that turned out to be pointing in the same direction.
For over ten years, mindfulness and meditation have been a personal practice. What began as a tool for my own clarity and resilience became something I wanted to share with the people around me.
Professionally, I trained and practice as a certified Physician Assistant specializing in Psychiatry. Every day in the clinic, I see what unmanaged stress, anxiety, and burnout do to the mind and body and I see how early intervention changes outcomes.
Student athletes are one of the most underserved populations in mental health, and one of the most receptive when you give them the right tools.
To formalize my teaching practice, I completed the rigorous 100-hour Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training through Dharma Moon, earning dual certification from Dharma Moon and Tibet House US - the United States Cultural Center of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The training is grounded in Buddhist philosophy and practice, with a contemporary and accessible approach to teaching mindfulness in real-world settings.
I started Firth Mindfulness because I believe every athlete deserves access to these tools, not just the ones at elite programs with full-time sports psychologists. The mind is trainable. Resilience is buildable. And the work we do here goes far beyond sport. It's a foundation for a healthier, more grounded life in every domain.
Whether you're an athlete looking for your next edge, or a parent watching your kid struggle under pressure - we'd love to talk. It all begins with a free 20-minute discovery call.
Student athletes carry a unique kind of pressure. Competition, academics, recruiting, expectations, injury, and identity can all converge at once. When they do, the effects often show up as anxiety, burnout, loss of confidence, poor recovery, and stress that extends far beyond sport.
Firth Mindfulness was created to give athletes and families a better path forward.
A free discovery call gives you a chance to ask questions, describe what your athlete is experiencing, and determine if we're a good fit.
